Not sure what happened to all the previous reviews this app had, but it deserves to be recognized as perhaps the most streamlined way to learn music theory! The update from December of last year was huge and the app continues to get better. I would like to thank the developer for creating this indispensable learning tool!

I dont write reviews often, but this app definitely deserves one. I hope it continues to be supported in future versions of iOS (I was very happy to see the prompt update to iOS 7.0) as its a great learning tool.

Very good for learning theory.

The bundle of apps with musicopolis is a great value and includes an excellent variety of tools to help one learn music theory and practice it. I love that the theory is in small "bites" and then reinforced by exercises that are relevant to my instrument. I also use the voice warmups and ear training a lot. Thankyou

I learned more about music construction in a couple of hours with this app, than two years of lessons.

It runs perfectly on my iphone, nice graphics! Its a complete tool for those like me who want to review theory and have a quick access to practice.

This app is super detailed, yet very concise. I have never written a review of an app before but this has got me really excited. I have only spent a few hours, but I can see that Im learning already. I like how it separates the "reading sheet music" aspect from just learning general music theory, and that it provides ample material for both. I have been wanting something to supplement in helping me learn theory and open the guitar up to me for years. If you have the hunger to learn and have patience reading a bit and getting quizzed on it... Then by all means, this is a priceless tool. Highly recommended

Having a lot of fun and learning well so far. It would be great to have a left-handed guitar among the instrument options.

Excellent app, I recommend

Love it. Easy to use. Although I dont use a theoretical mind when writing music, when Im in a bind, this has helped me figure out where Im at and where I can possibly go.

the most comprehensive music theory app in the market.

Im still waiting for a version of this for my Samsung phone. It is the greatest app.!! Im just disappointed that I cant use it on the phone I have now.

It NEEDS arrows to go up and down the notes of the instruments, but its an excellent app, plain and simple.

I love the way that you broke theories down into easy to understand discussions and then provided three levels of practice. The practice sessions were extremely helpful in illustrating patterns. Two recommendations: after completing a section, it would be helpful to have a NEXT button appear that will take the user directly to the next subject. It would also be helpful to have a reminder on the main screen indicating where the student left off. In spite of these two recommendations I will give you five stars.
